Basic rules

Please read these guidelines before you confirm any data. For all data you confirm make sure that the following rules are met:

  • Only confirm data of which you are 100% certain it is correct.
  • Provide as accurate sources as you have available, if possible conclusive evidence. If you do not have conclusive evidence, state how you come to the conclusion its correct.

Decay


To confirm decay, the most reliable source is do a decay test yourself. The test should be performed using fruit and the Trade terminal. See this page for a tutorial of the fruit method. It is important to double check the decay figure you get. So do the test at least twice, or even better, let someone else also test.


Mob damage

To confirm the maximal damage of mobs, you need both the highest damage and the lowest damage a mob can do. When your observed values are close enough to the maximums, you can deduce the true maximal damage. It has been found that damage confirms to the following rules:

  • Maximal damage is always an integer.
  • The damage interval is from 50% to 100% of maximal damage.
  • The damage interval is a uniform distribution (any damage within the interval has an equal probability of occurring).

Examples

1)
Minimal observed damage:50.4
Maximal observed damage:99.1

Twice the minimal observed damage is 100.8. Since the damage must be an integer, 100.8 must be rounded down, and 99.1 must be rounded up. So from both the minimal and maximal observed damage, a value of 100 is found. It is certain the damage is 100 and the value can be confirmed.

2)
Minimal observed damage:50.5
Maximal observed damage:99.1

Twice the minimal observed damage is 101. Since the damage must be an integer, 101 must be rounded down, and 99.1 must be rounded up. So from the minimal observed damage a value of 101 is found, and from the maximal observed damage a value of 100 is found. It is not certain whether the damage is 100 or 101, and the value can not be confirmed.


Maxed profession level

The column "maxed" is the exact profession level where the learning period is over. The in game item will say "Not anymore". Note that at this point, some stats may not yet have reached their maximal possible value.

It is also possible to extrapolate this profession level. This is possible by making use of the following rules:

  • Start hit ability is 3, end hit ability is 10, or
  • Start damage is 80%, end damage is 100%
  • Progression is linear.

Example

Your are in the learning period, and your HA is 6.5. The start profession level of the weapon is 50 and you are currently on level 53. So since the learning period started, you progressed 53 - 50 = 3 levels, while your hit ability increased 6.5 - 3 = 3.5 levels. When you have maxed the weapon your hit ability has increased by 7. So you now know you are at 3.5 / 7 = 0.5 (50%) of the learning period. So to calculated the level where you maxed your HA, you need to divide your progress in profession levels by the progress of your learning period, so 3 / 0.5 = 6. Now all there is left to do is add the start profession level and you know the level where the weapon is maxed, so 50 + 6 = 56.


Minimal TT

Minimal TT is the minimal TT value of the item where it can still be used one time. So this value is not the lowest possible value visible in game.


Give a source

Make sure you state the used test method in the comments when you confirm a value, preferable including test results.

Example for mob damage: "Naked test, mindamage 50.4, maxdamage 99.1, damage:100"
Example for decay: "Fruit test, 200 fruit + 1 PEC = 1.200 PEC decay"

An alternative source is a test performed by someome else. Only confirm when you can give a source, for example on EF. Include a link to the test in the comments.
